Application Developer (COBOL)

Job Highlights

Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications using COBOL, acting as the primary point of contact.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.

Bachelor’s or College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or a related fields
Should have at least 3 years of experience in COBOL
Must have experience in Wealth Management Advisory Solutions
Strong understanding of COBOL programming language and related technologies.
Familiarity with mainframe environments, databases (such as DB2 or VSAM), and batch processing.
Experience with modernizing or refactoring legacy COBOL applications is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
