Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing
Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data across systems
Ensure data quality by performing data validation and implementing data cleansing techniques
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise in data engineering
Optimizing data processing and querying performance through efficient use of Google BigQuery features and best practices.
Managing and troubleshooting data infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance issues, and ensuring high availability of data.
Staying updated with the latest developments and best practices in Google BigQuery and related technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in data engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions
Must have 4+ years of experience in Google BigQuery
Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices
Experience in designing and developing data pipelines
Knowledge of ETL processes and data migration techniques
Familiarity with data validation and cleansing techniques
Experience with SQL and database management systems
Understanding of cloud platforms and technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processes
