Role Summary

An Alteryx and Tableau Engineer designs and implements data analytics solutions, focusing on data preparation, automation, and visualization. They ensure seamless integration between data workflows and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to meet business needs and optimize processes.

Responsibilities

Expected to be an SME
Collaborate and manage the team to perform
Responsible for team decisions
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams
Lead data architecture design and implementation
Develop and maintain data pipelines
Ensure data quality and integrity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
Must have at least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer
Must have 3 years of experience in Alteryx Designer
Must have 3 years of experience in Tableau
Advanced proficiency in Alteryx Designer, including macros and in-database processing
Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online, with a focus on dashboard optimization
Knowledge of data warehousing and relational databases (SQL)
Experience in integrating data from diverse sources (APIs, flat files, cloud platforms)
Understanding of advanced analytics techniques and statistical methods
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
