Role Summary

Responsibilities

  • Workday Support lead handling incidents and problem tickets, investigation and resolution, ensuring SLAs are met by the team
  • Provide SME support for Workday-related inquiries from the client and team
  • Spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement in processes and application support
  • Lead and manage the Workday Finance Support team, ensuring timely resolution of issues and requests.
  • Act as the SME for Workday Finance Core (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Assets, Banking & Settlement, Expenses, Procurement).
  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday Financials, including troubleshooting, configuration updates, and enhancements.
  • Oversee Workday Finance configuration, security roles, and business process design.
  • Collaborate with Finance and business teams to gather requirements, analyze impacts, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Manage Workday release cycles—coordinate testing, deployment, and adoption of new features.
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness across financial modules.
  • Partner with IT on Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) with external finance systems and banks.
  • Document support processes, SOPs, and training materials for end users.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and user experience in Workday Financials.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful software-driven solutions
  • Minimum 5 years of Workday Financials/Finance Core experience, including configuration and support
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Workday Procurement
  • Expertise in Workday Finance Core modules (GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Banking, Procurement, Assets)
  • Strong knowledge of finance operations and accounting principles
  • Experience with Workday security administration and business process configuration
  • Familiarity with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio)
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • Willing to work Night shift – 9pm to 7am PHT
