As BDM, you will be an accomplished leader in generating and delivering leads through effective engagement with businesses and other organizations. The ideal candidate will have an enviable track record in sales and will demonstrate the creativity and autonomy necessary to establish a thriving business development function in the software industry.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role comes with pre-set sales targets and cross-functional administrative responsibilities (e.g., pre-project requirements, contract preparation, team briefings, etc.). This person needs to think creatively to craft attractive business proposals that meet the client’s objectives. You will also generate leads via research and proactively present a suite of software solutions to a diverse set of organizations. You will also lead contract negotiations, manage pipeline opportunities, and present status reports (opportunity versus closed versus target) to the team regularly.
