As BDM, you will be an accomplished leader in generating and delivering leads through effective engagement with businesses and other organizations. The ideal candidate will have an enviable track record in sales and will demonstrate the creativity and autonomy necessary to establish a thriving business development function in the software industry.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role comes with pre-set sales targets and cross-functional administrative responsibilities (e.g., pre-project requirements, contract preparation, team briefings, etc.). This person needs to think creatively to craft attractive business proposals that meet the client’s objectives. You will also generate leads via research and proactively present a suite of software solutions to a diverse set of organizations. You will also lead contract negotiations, manage pipeline opportunities, and present status reports  (opportunity versus closed versus target) to the team regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business leads and develop partnerships on behalf of Xurpas Enterprise;
  • Work closely with other BDs to drive local sales initiatives;
  • Generate creative partnership concepts from a wide range of industry categories that ultimately drive sales;
  • Hit sales targets and submit regular monitoring reports to the team.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degrees are an advantage;
  • 5+ years of prior work experience with business development in the IT/software sector & Staff Aug;
  • Demonstrable track record of sales and growth in current position, ideally in a software solutions/products marketplace;
  • Deep commitment to customer service and the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work successfully in a fast-paced environment;
  • Have business acumen and market insight;
  • Can communicate well with large groups and one-on-ones with senior management

Only candidates with significant business development experience in custom dev/software or a mobile/web solutions company will be considered.
