Role Summary

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients using the Accounting Module, ensuring their goals are understood and met.
  • Onboard new clients and provide tailored training and resources to ensure effective adoption of the accounting tools.
  • Understand clients’ financial processes, accounting workflows, and compliance needs to provide consultative guidance.
  • Monitor customer health metrics and usage data to proactively address risks and identify upsell or optimization opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams to resolve client issues and escalate technical concerns when necessary.
  • Advocate for client needs internally, contributing to product improvements and feature requests based on client feedback.
  • Lead periodic account reviews and maintain accurate account records in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight).
  • Support contract renewals and collaborate with Sales on account growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • 2+ years in a customer success, account management, or client-facing role—preferably in a SaaS or financial technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger workflows.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM and CSM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight).
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in accounting or finance (CPA, CFA, or accounting degree is a plus).
  • Experience supporting accounting software platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or ERP systems).
  • Familiarity with financial compliance standards and regulatory reporting.
