Role Summary

As a Program/Project Management Lead, you will analyze, troubleshoot, and configure network devices while managing relationships with multiple teams and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and configure network devices using general routing switch network technology and protocols.
  • Resolve network problems and faults.
  • Track and establish trends based on pending trouble call problem codes and trouble call fix codes.
  • Monitor repeat trouble call customers and forward unresolved issues to technical management.
  • Build tools to automate network provisioning management and scaling.
  • Work closely with development teams, architects, and application teams to deliver multiple projects.
  • Manage network security devices, including high-end firewalls, intrusion protection systems, and other security-related technologies.
  • Oversee the day-to-day functions of front-line Network Operations.
  • Manage network devices and infrastructure operations, including Routers, Cisco ACI, Network Controller, Contact Center Switch, Network Circuit Management, Webex, Video, IPAM, DHCP, DNS, and Wireless Access Points.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
  • Must have 3 years of experience in network operations or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, MPLS)
  • Familiarity with data center design, architecture, and operation including networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of security protocols and tools (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure)
  • Proficiency in using network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose network issues
  • Experience in managing projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Strong analytical skills to assess network performance and suggest enhancements
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving technology environment
