Role Summary

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems

Responsibilities

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams
Lead data architecture design and implementation
Develop and maintain data pipelines
Ensure data quality and integrity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
Must have at least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer
Must have 4 years of experience in Python and PySpark (Spark SQL, DataFrames, RDDs)
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Experience in implementing various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms.
Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity
Experience in Big Data Ecosystem: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Flink
Experience in Cloud Platforms: Big Data – Data Lake, GCP (Dataflow, BigQuery), Azure
Experience in Data Formats: JSON, CSV.
Experience in Version Control: Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in Orchestration Tools: Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or Azure Data Factory.
