Role Summary

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy IP telephony solutions, including VoIP systems and unified communication platforms.
  • Integrate telephony systems with existing network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement customized communication solutions.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of enterprise telephony systems.
  • Configure, update, and maintain IP telephony servers, endpoints, and applications.
  • Implement system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates to ensure optimal functionality and security.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to call quality, system connectivity, and network performance.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for telephony-related incidents and outages.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting procedures and documentation.
  • Work closely with network and IT teams to ensure compatibility and performance across all systems.
  • Integrate telephony systems with CRM, call center software, and other enterprise tools.
  • Enable video conferencing, messaging, and other unified communication features.
  • Implement security measures to protect telephony systems from cyber threats.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies regarding data privacy and communication.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Optimize system configurations for better call quality and reliability.
  • Analyze usage data and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, processes, and system changes.
  • Train end-users and IT staff on telephony tools and features.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Enterprise IP Telephony
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Teams Infrastructure
  • Experience with Direct Routing
  • Understanding of call flow and call transfer
  • knowledge of SBC (Session Border Controller)
  • Experience with Cisco SBC or Sonus SBC
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
  • Experience with SfB (Skype for Business)
  • Experience in Cisco IPT
  • Understanding of call flow and call transfer
  • Knowledge of legacy Cisco Voice systems
  • Experience with Webex Calling
  • Experience with Webex Contact Center (CC)
