Role Summary

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality Java code according to project requirements.
  • Mentor and assist junior developers.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery.
  • Contribute to system design and architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay updated with Java technologies and best practices.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation.
  • Optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure security best practices in software development.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, in any field.
  • At least 5 years (s) of solid backend and IT experience is required for this position.
  • Advanced knowledge of Java Core, Spring Framework 5. x (MVC, REST / Web Service, Security, Caching, Scheduling, Mail, etc.), Javascript, JQuery, Log4j, Database SQL – Oracle SQL, ORM – Hibernate
  • Proven experience in using Spring Boot 2. x, Lombok, JSON / XML, Mapping Framework, Logging Framework (Log4j, SLF4J), Unit Testing Framework (JUnit), Nginx, Unix, SFTP.
  • Good understanding of Building Tools, Maven, Git / Github, BitBucket, Bamboo / Jenkins, Azure, Netbeans, Eclipse for Java Dev, Apache POI, Tomcat
  • Proactive
  • Emphasis on quality in deliverables.
  • Can work with minimal supervision.
  • Should have strong communication skills, and solid analytical and problem-solving skill.
