Role Summary

You will be responsible for collaborating with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models. Your typical day will involve assisting with the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing the relevant data platform components.

Responsibilities

Define architecture blueprints, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
Choose appropriate design patterns, frameworks, and tools for development
Develop microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot
Lead the development of backend systems, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices
Oversee the implementation of RESTful APIs and ensure adherence to API-first principles
Provide mentorship to developers and junior architects
Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment with architectural goals
Work closely with stakeholders (e.g., product managers, business analysts) to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments
Implement strategies for load balancing, caching, and database optimization
Ensure adherence to security standards, including OWASP guidelines
Evaluate new tools and technologies for their potential to improve systems and processes
Make decisions on technology adoption based on organizational goals
Maintain comprehensive documentation for designs, workflows, and configurations
Develop and maintain system design diagrams

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications
Must have 4 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition
Experience in Spring Boot and ASP.NET MVC preferred
Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (Boot, Security, Data, Cloud)
Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and design patterns
Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
Strong grasp of authentication, authorization, and data security best practices
Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
