Role Summary

As a Microsoft Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Microsoft Power BI, utilizing your expertise to develop and enhance applications for data visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement applications using Microsoft Power BI to meet business requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, ensuring the applications are aligned with business processes
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test plans.
Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the applications are functioning correctly and meeting the required standards
Provide support and troubleshooting for application issues, working closely with end-users to resolve any issues or bugs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Must have at least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Power BI
Experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data extraction and manipulation
Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data modeling
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights through visualizations
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
