Qualifications
- Experience in big data Hadoop solutions specifically on HDFS, Hbase, Hive, Pig, Map Reduce, Spark, Kafka, Sentry, Flume, ZooKeeper, YARN, Sqoop, SQL, and related technologies
- Expertise with cloud technologies (AWS or GCP).
- Experience in container technologies, such as Docker. Ideally with container orchestration such as Kubernetes, EKS, or Docker.
- Experience working with Vendors/Open Source in the Data and Cloud ecosystem
- Experience with solving problems and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with automated build and continuous integration systems (Jenkins, Docker, Nexus, ECR)
- Experience working with Infra as a Code technology (Ansible, Terraform, or Cloud formation)
- Proficient with Unix/Linux (building/assembling packages, shell scripts, configuration management, and OS tuning)
- Experience in platform administration, performance tuning, data integration, database administration, metadata management
- Understanding of security, network, and hardware platforms including mainframes, distributed platforms, cloud and virtualization, desktops, and mobile devices
