Act as a Functional/Technical Consultant to manage the Online Reservation Platform (implemented by a vendor) with the existing POS system
Work on system configurations, customizations, and ensuring seamless integration between the reservation platform and POS system. (c/o Vendor, QA is needed)
Ensure smooth data flow between reservations, table management, and POS transactions.
Provide ongoing support and training to ensure maximum system adoption and efficient operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
Proven experience as a Functional Consultant/Project Manager for restaurant management systems and POS integration.
Strong understanding of online reservation systems, table management, and POS systems.
Ability to QA/manage providers/developers of online reservation platforms and POS systems to manage bookings, guest check-ins, and order processing seamlessly.
Experience in customizing reservation platform workflows, ensuring smooth data flow between online bookings and POS systems. (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with restaurant-specific needs such as table allocation, guest preferences, and order processing.
Experience in troubleshooting, system optimization, and providing ongoing support to restaurant staff for smooth system operations.
Expertise in online reservation platforms and POS system integration (preferably with restaurant management systems).
Experience in configuring and customizing POS integration for online reservations, table management, and order processing. (preferred but not required)
Strong understanding of cloud-based reservation systems and integration with existing infrastructure.
Familiarity with database management and reporting for restaurant operations.
Experience in API integration between reservation platforms and POS systems. (preferred but not required)
Ability to train restaurant staff and provide troubleshooting support for platform and POS usage.
