Responsibilities
Data Migration Developer is responsible for all activities related to detailed design, development, and unit testing of data migration jobs during the implementation project. DM developer will use ADF & PL/SQL for data migration & reconciliation activities.
Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL.
Collaborate with project managers, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and objectives.
Create and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to target systems.
Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries to support data migration and integration tasks.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
Perform data mapping, data profiling, and data validation to identify and resolve data quality issues.
Monitor and optimize data migration processes to improve performance and efficiency.
Document data migration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
Provide support and troubleshooting for data migration issues and incidents.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data migration, ADF, and SQL technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or a related fields
At least 2 years of experience in data migration projects, specifically using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Strong in PL/SQL.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques
Knowledge of database design, data modeling, data mapping, and data profiling
Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripts, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure SQL
.Net skills required for VC document migration / any enhancements for Recon/Report UI
