Responsibilities
Writing code for automation, improving workflows, and developing scripts for multiple systems to ensure seamless integration
Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the process of testing, building, and deploying software.
Managing and provisioning infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency
Setting up tools for monitoring performance metrics, logs, and alerts to proactively address issues and optimize system performance
Working across teams to streamline development and operations processes, fostering a culture of collaboration and communication
Implementing security best practices to safeguard systems, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments
Resolving technical issues efficiently and quickly to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability
Managing code repositories using tools like Git for tracking changes, coordinating team collaboration, and ensuring version control
Automating repetitive tasks and processes using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to improve efficiency and reduce human error
Identifying areas for optimization, enhancing system performance, and ensuring scalability as workload demands change.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’ degree in computer science or equivalent is required
Must have 5+ years minimum hands-on experience with cloud platforms
Must have 4+ years of combined development and DevOps experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and web applications in hybrid cloud platforms
Must have 5+ years of overall experience in IT
Strong knowledge of multiple cloud platforms and ability to work with GitHub and GitHub action and strong hands-on experience in Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell/Bash scripting
Experience with Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Cloud formation) and in shell scripting and a high-level programming language is a plus
Proficient in Kubernetes, helm charts templating and proficient experience in configuring Jenkins to CI/CD
Docker and Docker composer experience and knowledge
Working knowledge of Azure cloud services in IaaS, PaaS
Experience in installing enterprise platforms, HCL 9.1 installation and management knowledge is a plus
Experience in using git base versioning tools
Confident configuring CD/CI pipeline based on Agile tools and methodologies (Jira, GitLab, Confluence) in a cloud based (Azure, AWS, GCP) environment
Proficient with relational database configuration and maintenance (Oracle, MsSql, Postgres, MySql)
Strong knowledge of Unix SO, shell scripting & make file and knowledge of Network configuration cloud environment (Azure AWS, GCP)
APM tools configuration (AppDynamics, NewRelic)
Logging aggregator knowledge like ELK or Splunk
Performance monitoring across all app stack (DB, WebApp, Cache, CDN).
