Responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software test plans and test execution for multiple projects.
Will then execute and report on tests conducted and manage resulting defects.
Responsible for regressing systems under test and assist development with replicating and debugging problems.
Test Manager may manage testers from multiple projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and document application test plans based on system requirements and technical specifications involved in the project.
Overall responsible and manage end-to-end Test Activities and phases, to wit:
Planning (Test Plan)
Preparation (Coordination; Checklist)
Execution, Monitoring, and Management (Issue / Defect Reporting and Tracking; Progress Tracking and Reporting; Test Risk and Issue Reporting; Regular UAT Calls, Draft of UAT Summary Result)
Closure (UAT Exit Report)
Author User Acceptance Test (UAT) Masterpack (Scenario / Case), and secure sign-off
Coordinates product testing processes.
Collaborate with different stakeholders involved in Test Activity – e.g., Testers, Business Analyst, Technical / Support SMEs, or Lead
Ensure compliance to Business Technology (BT) PMO – QA Target Operating Model – e.g., Process, Owners, Gateways (Entry and Exit Criteria), Artefacts
Escalate Test Blockers, which might warrant a Suspension, to QA Lead
Expected to perform resource management, of testers assigned, and escalate to Quality Assurance (QA) Lead for any issue (over or under) manpower allocation, based on demand from projects assigned to the Tower (BT PMO)
Manage day-to-day deliverable of Tester/s to each assigned project/s
Expected to Test Manage multiple projects at a time
Expected to lead, introduce, or suggest changes in policy or procedure or introduce new methods or products that would significantly impact one or more function areas
Run/organize regular UAT Preview and UAT Calls, as part of Preparation and Execution
Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
Review client, customer, and user feedback.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Engineering, or Computer Science-related courses.
at least 3 years of Quality Assurance / Test Management with 3 full cycle implementation experience
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
