You will be responsible for diagnosing issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. Your typical day will involve addressing five aspects of Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Analyze and interpret performance test results.
  • Develop performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
  • Conduct load testing to identify system bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in computer science or a related field
  • Expert proficiency in Apache JMeter with at least 3 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies.
  • Experience in analyzing and optimizing system performance.
  • Knowledge of capacity planning and application performance management.
  • Familiarity with problem detection and resolution techniques.
