Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco routing/switching solutions to improve network performance and application acceleration.
Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and The Dude.
Troubleshoot network issues, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve service reliability.
Manage network-related incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow (SNOW).
Perform routine maintenance activities and participate in on-call support rotations for critical incidents (P1/P2).
Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business and operational requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in network engineering and WAN optimization.
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise networking concepts.
Experience supporting production network environments and handling critical incidents.
2+ years of experience in Riverbed Steelhead
2+ years of experience in RiOS
2+ years of experience in Riverbed WAN Optimizer (RS WAN Optimizer)
2+ years of experience in Cisco routing and switching
2+ years of experience in Network monitoring and troubleshooting
